Hector R. Rubinstein completed in 1973 his studies at the career of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the National University of Cordoba (UNC), Argentina, and in 1989 awarded his doctorate in chemistry at the same University. Is Specialist in mycology and Specialist parasitology since 1981.
He is tenured Professor (full time) in charge of the subject Food Microbiology, Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemical Sciences, National University of Córdoba. Researcher at the Institute of Science and Food Technology (ICTA), Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, National University of Cordoba.
Professor of Project Management at the Master in Engineering Sciences, mention in Administration, Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, National University of Cordoba. Professor at the Inter-University postgraduate Career Midwest and North Consortiums, Specialization in Management and Linking Technology (G-Tec program). Teacher at the Master of Food Science and Technology of the National University of Cordoba. Professor of Food Microbiology at the Master of Food Science, University of San Andrés, Faculty of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, La Paz, Bolivia. Is co-author of forty-four papers in refereed scientific journals, editor of one book, and wrote six chapters in books on the specialty. Until date, he has over one hundred works in congresses and national and international scientific meetings.
He has directed five doctoral theses, two master graduates and two specialists. He has made several consulting and advisory services to the productive sector on issues related to the specialty.
